This campsite has 200 camping areas, the majority of which are located under a large canopy of trees, and it serves as an oasis of serenity beside the Mediterranean.

After hours in the car, when you arrive at the gates of the site in Sainte-Marie de la Mer, you will feel immediately relaxed as if you’ve just taken a soothing shower. And if you want, you can head straight to the sea by way of the campsite’s direct access to a magnificent beach.

Centralised living space

Among the many things that are sure to seduce you at Palais de la Mer, the living space is organised like a small village. Around the large pools in the waterpark, you’ll find a restaurant bar, grocery store, reception desk, etc.

Natural camping sites

The 200 camping sites are equally divided into traditional camping areas and lodgings (mobile homes and chalets). The camping areas are offered at three different levels (standard, comfort and high comfort). The lodgings can accommodate between 2 to 6 people. Whichever type of accommodation you choose, there is not a single spot that is not well shaded.

Small “zen” islands

Next to one of the main paths running through the campsite, you’ll find “zen islands” with an aviary, a fountain, benches where you can have seat and relax in these calm surroundings.

A farm and nightlife

One of the facilities at the Palais de la Mer that has seen the most success, especially among children, is the farm where you can admire the wonderful horses, a family of donkeys, lamas, different types of chickens, the goat pen with adorable kid goats, and an aviary filled with exotic birds. Another enjoyable location is the Embuscade, a bar and music venue for evenings out. It has been arranged with large barrels as well as massive cask barrels that serve as alcoves for couples.

The beach

At the back of the campsite, a small gate provides access to a magnificent fine-sand beach after a few minutes walk. The area leading to the beach has been placed on the Natura 2000 protected areas list and remains completely wild and natural. If you wish to practice naturism during your holiday, there is a part of the beach reserved for that purpose.
